Flying into and out of Fredericton has never been better. When the newly renovated airport was reopened to the public in 2021 Chess Piece Påtisserie & Cafe was pleased to open 2 cafes at YFC to serve the public.
Our Arrivals cafe serves customers before check-in and those that are waiting on friends and family to arrive. Arrive a bit early and treat yourself to a freshly baked croissant and a latte or cozy up to our bar and enjoy a pint or two of some of New Brunswick’s amazing craft beverage makers. We are pleased to carry Picaroons, Graystone, Maybee Brewing, Off Grid Ales, Red Rover Cider, and First Light Distillery.

Travellers also have the option of visiting our Departures cafe inside the security gate which offers the exact same menu as we do at the Arrivals cafe.
Sandwiches, soup (seasonal), sweet treats, freshly baked pastries, and of course the Bar stocked with all your New Brunswick and globally recognized beverage choices.
